At Bathhouse Trading Co., we believe self-care is more than a luxury; it’s preventative healthcare. After 15 years as an ER nurse, our founder, Keegan Koehler, saw firsthand how stress, burnout, and exposure to harsh products took a toll on patients, coworkers, and caregivers alike. In the height of COVID, it became clear: what we put on our bodies daily matters — for our health, our resilience, and our environment.

In 2021, Keegan set out to create an alternative. From Franklin, Kansas, Bathhouse Trading Co. was born with a simple mission: to craft small-batch, eco-friendly products that support wellness before the crisis point. Every bar, balm, and bottle is designed not just to cleanse or moisturize, but to care — to protect skin, calm the mind, and remind us that tending to ourselves is a vital form of healthcare.

And while it began as one nurse’s vision, it quickly grew into a true family endeavor. Today, Bathhouse Trading Co. is proudly family-owned and operated: Keegan’s husband, Steven Koehler, works alongside her full-time; and Keegan’s parents, Paula and Ed, are there daily, helping with production and lending their full-time support. Every product that leaves our workshop carries not just clean ingredients, but the care and dedication of our family to yours.
